Highland Kai-Pa Wild Rice or Bue So Mi is a rice that is mostly cultivated by the Karen people of the Sgaw tribe under the system that consumer health is a priority concern. The grain is long and slender. The rice has gamma oryzanol, an antioxidant that helps improve overall cellular protection and reduce oxidative stress. Also, the rice contains iron comparable to Jasmin rice but with more fiber, a protein that helps with muscle repair, and vitamin B6 which helps improve the neuron system. The rice is tender, fluffy, and has a sweet aroma when cooked.
